I'm moderately new, and the same trial mechs have been available since I started 4 months ago. I thought they were supposed to get rotated occassionally?

They do, but it's a fairly long cycle - I forget how long. It's better to wait for sales and try recommended chassis rather than waiting for the trial 'mechs to cycle through.

The current crop of trial mechs are pretty good imo.

"Occassionally" means "many months or years between changes".

They're also designed by the Cauldron, not PGI, and so it would be best to ask the Cauldron if any changes are planned.
