Has someone ever wondered why there are so few light?
Maybe because in order to get a positive pilot ranking score (or even a satisfying game I'd say) you have to do the same damage as a heavy while being unable to properly dish out damage in the early game, as a heavy-itself, but mostly being reliant on the medium-late confusion of the battlefield?
Reducing the queue time won't work as a miracolous plaster.

Maybe all those player who actaully would love to play as lights just got fed up and started playing as an assault to get free pilot skill rating by just putting theyr brain in airplane mode and do tons of damage.

tl;dr: pilot skill rating on a light are way too strict compared to any other class weight and it would be actually fine if the matchmaking wouldn't BEG YOU to play as one with a mere queue time incentive.

Slap a RAC on an Urbie if you want to damage with a light. That's what I do.
