Hi All

I need some help in my Griffin-1N MRM60 build.

For MWO Client:
Ag<:2021|GP|GP|Hgp^0|[@|Y@q^0|f?|AO|GP|i^rT0sT0|Y?|Y?|Y?t]0u]0vB0|GPw606060

For MechDB:

Can give suggest how to improve it? Or is there better build then MRM60?

Your build code is for the 1N(S) and can't be read by MechDB. See my Comment on your 6R build.

Thanks for your comments for my Wolverine-6R build. I have edited the above to include the link to MechDB.

The code works in mechlab.
OP, do you need those 3 ER lasers or the AMS?
Your build is fairly hot and slow for a medium. Consider dropping the lasers for a higher engine.

Don't go that slow on a large 55ton mech. If you have to go LFE, at least go 250 rating. GRF-1N

You can also go XL and mimic a poor man's QUARANTINE. Be aware though that the WVR has much higher agility stats.

MRM50 has the best balance for speed, firepower and heat management for 55 tonners. Speed is life, don't go lower than a 280.

https://mech.nav-alp...18892f98_GRF-1N

Also, never take a MRM40+20 on any mech. The weight savings is not worth it because
1) you can't alpha without ghost heat, lowering your DPS. and if you chain fire, you increase exposure time. coupled with your slow speed, which means even more exposure

2) the MRM40 launcher has a different cooldown time compared to other launchers, so your weapon fire don't sync up even if you eat the ghost heat to alpha strike

Always MRM30+30 on mechs that can carry it. the 1 ton weight savings is never worth it.

This comes from testing all the various combinations through hundreds of matches in both my WVR and IV-four MRM brawlers

40+20 runs cooler than 30+30. It is absolutely worth it with how good stats the MRM40 has.

Especially because all MRM launchers have equal "burn time", so MRM40 provides the best density of missiles per second during launch sequence.

3xMRM20 has the coldest MRM60 DPS while only being one resp. two tons heavier than 30+30 resp. 40+20 and also allows XL on onesided hardpoint variants like the GRF-1N or the WVR-6R

i'd not recommend an XL on a deadside mech for obvious reasons.
Especially not recommend that for a new player.

I second this its a terrible idea asking new customers to add XL engines, one shoulder destroyed and they are gone.

You do not need XL, avoid CD desyncs by not using MRM40.

I got 3 Griffins running MRM30+20 using either LFE 280 or 285 like this GRF-1N but not on my 1N though I could, just seems boring having MRMs on the 1S, 3M and 5M(L) already and I do not have or need AMS.

You can take the extra outside engine DHS and swap for 2 more JJs if you want.

Try this

https://mech.nav-alp...fc66afaa_GRF-1N

No ghost heat, faster, you get your full 10 engine-mounted heat sinks (which are true doubles, unlike any you mount as equipment), and I didn't check the cooling but it's probably cool enough without the lasers to shave more armor off the arms and drop a heat sink for three or four jump jets

which would look like this

https://mech.nav-alp...586386bf_GRF-1N

Just to prevent confusion, Gilgamecc seems to be a bit out of touch with the current ruleset here:

Since the Heatsystem Overhaul in 2019, (Double) Heatsinks inside and outside the engine work absolutely the same in regards of heat dissipation.
