As per title I just had my best match ever in my Adder. Running 2x HLL and 3x ERML. I do love my Adder, but the old girl is starting to show her age with the limited hard points, no JJ, and no masc. Thankfully many players tend to ignore an Adder as there are always more dangerous targets around. Anyways, I like driving the old girl.

I am sure that you will soon leave your current Tier.

If you want to try something different, try using 2 ERML and an LBX20. Posted Image

You can keep the Prime RT, but you'll need to change the following - D RA, B LA, A LT.

The Prime RT has a LAMS in it (missiles have been horrible lately) but you can also swap it out to add another ERML.

No extra heat sinks needed. You can swap the LBX20 out for one of the other big guns, I'm only using it for Light hunting.

This is a lot of fun and great for working with Assaults or late game finishing.

I was using an ultra 20 quad heavy medium laser cougar. Very similar. But I havent exactly found its niche yet. Im not used to piloting lights.

Personally I prefer the Puma before the Cougar.

The cougar gets you 1 more energy hardpoint and doesn't stick you with a head hardpoint. I haven't played much with the Puma. I should give it a try. They are very very similar mechs.

The Puma is 20 km/h faster than the Cougar and sometimes that higher speed can really be useful.

That's a lot of face time for a mech so small. the UAC adders i find much better you can twist and hide quick and do almost all your damage.

Cougar,

For those people talking about them i can never get um to work with those SRM builds. The only build i found that i did well and enjoyed was a Dual ERLL+ATM build. It actually worked quite well for me. Hang out and peak and poke with some range assault and add to their damage. You can use the speed to take a wide arc and still get back quick enough as you are basically using the assault for cover too. Just don't get in their way!!

There is a lot of ECM and AMS on the current MWO battlefield. ATMs are not as useful as they used to be.
