Zoe: Do you know what the definition of a hero is? Someone who gets other people killed.

Sure sounds like something that fits MWO. Lets form an event around it.

Get instant awards for interacting with a faction hero in a match
Faction heroes are players above rank 20 in a faction.

Reward 1 - decal 'Killed by Hero' if the faction hero kills you.
Reward 2 - survive and win with a faction hero on your side and get a decal 'Saved by Hero'
Reward 3 - kill a faction hero and get the faction warhorn, flag, and medallion of the hero and decal 'Hero Slayer'
Reward 4 - lose match against a faction hero get decal 'I only lose to Heroes'
Reward 5 - win match with a faction hero on your side and get decal 'My Hero'


Of coarse there is an easier way to be a hero then grinding. Buy the Hero mech. Any will do. Be nice if some hero mechs were on sale.

Track the number hero mechs you kill and/or KMDD for rewards
Track KMDD and kills made in a hero mech for rewards.
Track damage made in a hero mech for rewards
Win a match in a hero mech get decal 'I am a Hero'
Drop in a faction match get decal 'Hero trainee'
