@daeron, Can We Have Isvclan Quickplay?

I saw a podcast where Daeron was saying he wished there was a quickplay progression goal other than just trying to get to Tier 1.

Well, is the balance good enough now that we could have ISvClan quickplay?
We could attach ISvClan Quickplay to the Faction Reputation system, and give players MONTHS of progression content to unlock, and rewards to unlock for participating.

Thanks, I updated the spelling.
Not asking for a new queue, asking them to put IS on one side and Clan on the other for the current queue.
I can't imagine it would have that big of an impact on queue time.

Our current queues are already fragile as is. Splitting them further than the existing quickplay queue and faction play would be inadvisable.

Ofcourse this will throw mm time to oblivion. Current mm is often ignoring even tonnage for reasons.

I would be interested in seeing drop stats for IS vs Clan, and a report on how much it would impact queue time.

Faction play is my preferred game mode, but most people aren't playing it anyways.
You can still draw people into FP with:
1. Siege Maps
2. Ability to 12man drop
3. Drop Decks.
4. Increased rewards.


The ultimate question that nobody has dared answer is are IS and Clan now balanced enough to do Faction Quickplay?

Can we at least try it for a weekend event to see if we like it?

great idea
at least a Clan VS IS event

not many people remember the first Clan vs IS test
it was unannounced the next thing we knew we where fighting the Clans and getting royally stomped

but using tactics we managed to get a win and it felt oh so good

Its hard to prove whether it would or wouldn't considering that kind of matchmaking info is not available to the public, that being said the general wisdom is that more restrictions on any matchmaker means longer times to form matches, and that's true of any matchmaker in any game.

I'm not convinced that it would be god awful. I'm not convinced the factions are so imbalanced.

Most do not want this or they already would be playing CW

When people cite problems with FP, it's not IS v Clan that they complain about.
They don't even complain about balance.
They complain about spawn camping and 12 man groups seal clubbing pugs.

That is not what I said, I said if people wanted ISvsClan they could play CW.

Not implying anything, saying that if that is what they wanted there is already a game mode in which to do that.

Go find them, I am sure they cant be that hard to find. 2-4 years ago at this point.

I am not arguing, I am saying they already have that mode and that they most likely are not going to change QP that much (maybe for an event it could happen)

Also I have called for many many changes over the years and still do.
