Hi there,
is there any chance the whole UI Layout/Design in MW5 will get a rework?
Unfortunetly it looks like a programmers functionality mockup then anything else. New informations are just crammed in where there is space without any visual hierarchie.
Is it because they are different developers, who try to prevent to look too similar? I mean battletech has a great UI, MWO´s UI is well designed (became overcrammed too by the time) but MW5 is unbearable to look at.

That's just your personal opinion. You should probably go make a game instead

There are certain things they should improve.
1 - Sliders in general need to be easier to grab.
2 - Difficulty ratings for Instant Action has too many, several spots Lance tonnage is duplicated one spot 3 times and no choices for below 45 tons.
3 - Text font size, jeez too many games are going with tiny font causing complaints.

I don´t know if it´s a waste of time doing a mockup as it seems modding is not that supported. I only read that mods won´t work on steam anymore, but didn´t really research for it. I mean the HUD mod is highly changing elements, so it should be possible with all the other ui elements too?
@wildstreak
On each screen there are a lot of redundant/unneeded information cluttering others, while more important ones won´t show up. With a little repositioning and colorcoding there could be a good improvement. Interestingly i find that they are doing too big, same looking fonts everwhere. Some tinier and backstaged fonts could help bring others to front.
