Linebacker-A Question

Why does the Left St have so much more Armor then the Right? If anything it should be the other way around, as the Right has more weapons mounted in it. So should be the more important of the two to protect.Posted Image

It probably has something to do with the stock loadout and protecting the "big weapon" in the left torso. (This would make more sense if we had hardpoint sizes.) But then, the main stock loadout of the Linebacker B is in the right torso, and both right AND left torsos have the armor boost.

So, uh... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

When in doubt... left side shield!

Omnimechs, especially old ones, tend to have quirks that compensate for hardpoints that have very few hardpoints to give you some reason to ever use them.

Gagis above is right.

Those quirked OmniPods are PGI's attempt to entice the players to use them.

Otherwise the players would simply use different OmniPods with better/more numerous hardpoints.
