Unable To Count Or Just Don't Know How The Queue Works?

Anyway, if IS loyalists remain in IS group and clan loyalist remain in clan groups matches could be arranged more easily. But some people jump side to side in hope to be on the easy way (defender side?). No matter if IS or clan would be the defensive, defender's side always fill far quicker.
So essentially:

So whatever. I would stick to clan side whenever I have time (patience) play FP and f**k upon the queue. My life would be easier if I could bring some member of my unit as a group into a match. Group's advantage in case of enter a match is also influence the things badly since 4-group members toss up the queue with 4 member and solo players sux to wait longer EVEN if ****** side to side.

I not want to start another debate about solo players versus groups. Just mentioned that it is also part of the issues...

instead of this boondoggle of a conflict system instead spawn missions based on queue content. if you got 30 people stacked on is. spawn an is vs is battle, if clans are stacked do clan vs clan. if clans and is is balanced, do clan vs is. do this every time you have enough players to start a match. map and mode would be random, attack/defense would be random. the conflict is between whatever the most populous banner is on each team. or the second if the match doesnt make sense (say marik vs marik).

at the end of a phase/day/week/whatever, the top 4 factions are by wins gets a random planet on their border, the 4 weakest factions that day lose a random planet. perhaps you gain/lose more than one based on ranking. say 4 for the top team, 3 for the second and so on. thus games have an effect on the map. if somehow you end up with a map that is all one faction, then you throw a bunch of bonuses at players fighting for the underdogs.

we can probibly all agree that the match itself is the reason people play faction and that anything that happens outside the match is irrelevant. if you cannot make the queues conform to the game, then make the game conform to the queues. this also gives more lore because you can fight for a banner and see results from your fighting instead of having to wait for your faction to come up. its also automated, no manual resets. the game need never end.

if you want to throw on a population modifier to reduce the match size during off peak hours, that would be good too. simple flexible systems are better than convoluted unbending rules that can be exploited for an advantage.

Excellent idea! I support it!
Not because it could solve many problems but at least we can have clan versus clan matches ( IS versus IS rarer nowadays than a white crow).
Bonus side is that it not need extensive, complex coding. The base of it already exists (QP's random offers and matchmaking) just need to add a few lines for the inner-faction conflicts.

Only moments ago the queue was 9/26. It's now 5/3 and I don't think a game ever launched. Pathetic.

Yeah i dont think we are there yet than loyalist needs to change their oath to get games. Oso's and 31HR at least are sticking to their gameplan. The other guys on def needs to change to attack.

And i think people got right to do what they want in videogames and play how they want to enjoy their game/own free time. EDIT* dont play like PRIMO, BOMJ, Tracker those guys suck

I agree with this, it has to be made random. I also think that maybe group sizes should be restricted to 4, I know FP is for group play and all that but it is basically dead. Now I know this is not popular but maybe if it is opened up a bit for solos some life can get back into it. No solo will join a FP match knowing that a 12 man or whatever is waiting to farm.

I used to love FP back when it was still going, I would like to play it again but at this stage I won't join a match.

What is wrong with PRIMO? He seems a decent sniper as much as I saw him in FP...
The rest of the guys I not met yet.

Maybe some FP-based events may also would handy. Not sure how many people it may trigger to get unique stuffs playing FP but may worth a try? It may drawn mostly beginners I think but some may got like FP in general. I loved FP during my 25 cadet matches and still love to play time to time (despite my swift, shamefull culling by the greater goods)...

They (FAIT, BOMJ) are just worst teammates to have on your side. They know how to play. They just dont give a **** about winning in team based game. Sometimes they will play for real, but usually they just throw all of their mechs away end of 2 wave. So your team is without 1-3 players at halfway mark. Theres usually no comeback from there. Tracker (Mushroom madness) is just trolling or being super annoying every game and not the best teammate either


I think this has been adressed before, but nowdays that player pop is so low on FP can we revisit this? Is this acceptable behavior by PGI and players?

At least today there was many big premades in que so i personally believe it shouldnt be restricted. Had fun playing and some stompy matches too, but thats how it is with superior matchmaker

Limiting groups doesn't work (sync drop) and is a bad idea. Teams should just self regulate more and split up (half jumping red team?) If no proper opposition online (easy check via twitch friendlist etc.)
