Level1Tech has released a Video about the problematic monitor cable situation that can crash your computer/game:
Flickering Issues With AMD GPUs? We've Got You Covered! Driver Settings And Choosing Proper Cables - YouTube

As this becomes ever more relevant with the increase of high res high refresh monitors i guess testing cables will see a greater focus in the future to prevent completely good hardware from failing due to inferior cables.

Cheap cables are big business. Tolerable for office computers, less so for gamers! Good find!

While I prefer to read than watch, it's indeed a good find. Regardless, I'll stick with 60 Hz screen + DisplayPort, while considering upgrading to 144 Hz setup, since I too much played games with 30 FPS Posted Image
