I decided to reinstall my portal and I get this dialog box:

This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package.

Please help!

Well I contact support, got a reply with instructions which is irrelevant to me and support has been ignoring me since. it's coming to 2 weeks....

Potential antivirus program or another program is interfering with it.

What have you actually tried, as there are several suggestions simply for that particular error, regardless of setup file being downloaded.

Ignore the first piece advertisement. Ignore 7, 8 and 13.

Also potental bad/unstable ram, causing the setup file to become corrupted. If system is overclocked and the above suggestions do not work, save bios profile and set system back to default.

This site is a tad more streamlined in its possible workarounds.

Two questions:

1. What Antivirus software you're using?
2. Do you have Steam account?

Player as started separate threads after the last few weeks instead of trying to keep them all together - As of 11-13-21 he is getting server under maintenance.
