So there's items listed that are confusing.

Mechs injected from an imported save will now keep any installed Upgrades

Didn't know there was an issue here but of higher importance, why can this be fixed but not the complaint about Cold Storage Mechs losing / keeping upgrades? Some answer instead of silence making players guess would be nice. Is it part of the planned economy or something else?

Players can now import Career saves when starting a new Career

Wut?
So if I finish a Career, I could then Import that finished Career with all its acquired Mechs (Assaults, etc.) and use that to start a new career? Even a partially finished one?
There's a joke in this about poor AI bots in starting locations.

Bot VTOL - "Sir, I see human players appearing."
Bot Tank Commander - "OK boys, mount up and respawn. We got another Human starting a noob unit to train and lose a fight to. What's the noob bringing VTOL 1?"
Bot VTOL - "1 Battlemaster, 1 Cyclops, 1 Zeus and 1 Archer sir. They look to have some battle damage so must be quite experienced."
Bot Tank Commander - "WWWWWUUUUUTTTTT?????"

OK, I just tested a theory and found an easy exploit to this 'fix.'
One of the following occurred to cause this 'fix.'
- PGI does not know what it is doing again.
- someone naively for some unknown reason asked for this.
- someone intentionally pulled a scam on PGI.
- someone was too lazy to make a mod.
- Two or more of the above.

I don't see a problem with this - yes of course importing assault mechs into a new career will break the difficulty curve. Its just there for people who want to import career into careers (I saw a non-0 amount of requests for this with the kestrel patch)

- People bought the Kestrel DLC not knowing they couldn't play it with their saves if they had played past a certain date.

Not sure what's so confusing.

Still no matter how harmless the request it has created an exploit that is funny and also breaks things, if the Goblin + Kobold exploit that I reported is still in it gets more hysterical and broken.

I would have expected better.

It's a singleplayer game. I see no need to fuss about possible game exploits when you have savegame editors anyway. These are just QoL additions/adjustments.
