With the holiday and the classic "turkey" shoot i thought what if that was turned around for an event?

the Turkey's shoot!

an event based around birds shooting and doing damage. Sale around the birds. :)

Raven, Vapor eagle, Vulture, Phoenix hawk (that's all i got off the top of my head)

It's a typical event, Do damage in one of those and get kills..

Sorta the turkey's get revenge. There are a crap ton of people with a really nice long weekend coming up.

Though boy would that make for a good time to get a faction war event going!

Stormcrow, Shadow Hawk, Night Gyr (I believe the 'Mech was named for gyrfalcons).

No other birb 'Mechs, sadly.

Black Lanner. (A lanner is a type of falcon.)

Some casual players not particularly familiar with the lore may be scratching their heads at the "Vulture" that JC Daxion mentioned. "Vulture" was the codename Inner Sphere forces gave the Mad Dog before they knew anything about the clans (the large side torsos vaguely bring to mind the folded wings of a vulture, the forward-jutting CT also somewhat hearkens to the animal's head and neck, and the reverse-joint legs are very bird-like).

A Griffin isn't a bird, per se. It is a mythological creature that is part lion and part hawk/eagle. The word Griffin also has 3 acceptable spellings in English: Griffin, Griffon, and Gryphon. An odd side note, that might let the Griffin sneak into this nonsense on a technicality, is that there are at least two species of vulture referred to as "Griffons". (I didn't know about these birds until just a couple moments ago, I did a Google search to make sure I wasn't about to talk out of my hindquarters.)

most people are right handed and goes to the right, this start the rotation to the left as they go first right and then left. On a map you will have to eventually go to the left if you went right. The boundries of the map is like Samuel samwise Gamgi and never goes further, The edge of the map makes them having to turn around, instead of turning around they go to the left. this makes the player think they can get away with making a turn around who would otherwise be time consuming and put their backs toward predators.

The second option is just as annoying= The backward walkers. Because in the future there are no cameras or mirrors. Imagine a car who moves forward and reverse crash into the other car over again. This is why rotation is needed to prevent blocking the paths or intentionally blocking players to reduce their match scores.

The alternative would be to walk backwards, the game's camera is stuck at a 270 degree forward angle and your only goal is to backstab to prevent them to see anything and to shoot where them have lower armor.

Because of MWO, have gotten very used to calling it the Nova, that I tend to neglect the Inner Sphere designation.

As a side note, the Black Hawk - KU might be viable as an Inner Sphere omni.

I remembered it because it was called the Black Hawk in MechWarrior 3 and MechWarrior 4. Posted Image
