Hi everyone,

This past weekend I built a new gaming computer. The pc seems to be working fine with the exception of my headphones/mic. This is an odd problem for me because the headset will sometimes work completely, other times not at all, sometimes the headphones will work but not the mic, and other times the mic will work but not the headphones (sound comes out of main speakers.)
I am running Win10 and made sure the settings are correct in Sound. There are no drivers for this, so there is nothing to update on that end. The pc case has a single spot for the headphone jack on the front of the case.

My hardware specs:
MSI Pro Z690-A wifi mainboard
Intel Core i5-12600KF
32GB Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3200 ram
Win10

It feels like I have gone through all the stuff I could find on google, but my search abilities aren't that good. Any help would be appreciated! I would like to be able to talk to my teammates! Coordination is the key!

**EDIT**
It looks like the problem has settled down to the mic working but the sound coming from my desktop speakers.

***UPDATE***

Problem solved!

I found some different Realtek audio drivers and that fixed my problem.
