I know its a thing due to getting stepped on by others in my urbie but how much of a thing? I just had a match where I killed a Raven by landing on it after a jump in my urbie. He only had one leg and the other was cherry red.
I didn't shoot him and when I landed on him I got the kill notification. Anyone ever pull something like that off? I couldn't believe it.

Congrats, you jumped on someone that maybe had 1 point left in a torso location. Collisions do a tiny amount of damage, but it IS damage.

I’ve managed to kill someone by collision damage all of once in ~2000 games, so it’s very rare, but can certainly happen.
Nice work getting an Uribe “Death From Above” kill in, that’s pretty epic

Congrads, you probably inflicted that very rare 'critical hit' collision damage, and enemy had 1 red leg left...
Normal collision causes (very) minor damage, like something like one (1) damage...
Probably won't be repeated again, even in a private lobby match...

I've heard of (and seen footage of) accidental TKs by way of collision damage. Closest I've come is a teammate ran his Locust into me while I was backing my BLR-1S into cover. I didn't know he was coming up behind me, and he was paying more attention to the pursuers on his minimap. Suddenly, I heard the SFX of a component destruction, and I was like, "What the hell?" Then I saw the poor dude's Locust limping along in front of me. Between his forward speed, and my reversing into him speed, it was close to a 200 kph collision. His leg got epically funched.

I had a team mate bump into my cherry red side torso last week. The single point of damage was enough to blow the gauss rifle I had there and kill me. I mean, i was basically dead anyway, but I felt bad that he got a team kill for trying to squeeze by me on a ramp.
