Really curious to see what they might have up their sleeve for this one. Hoping for more work on the mission types (with them preferably tied to the base game and not the DLC) and maybe a questline based around canon events.
Also interesting that the Hatchetman shown in the little clip seems to be the 3F Austin hero mech from canon. It mounts a prototype LB 10-X in place of the AC10, and has three medium lasers mounted in the left arm.

Hoping that they will integrate a lot of the features from mods that the Reddit community has been telling new players to use. I mean, the work has already been done for them. Check box to remove Jumpship animation. Purchase Salvage option. Saving upgrades when moving mechs to cold storage. YAML like mech customization, and quirks for mechs. Viewing more mech info on hover. Also a bunch other.
One I would like to see, that isn’t a mod, is to purchase mechs directly into cold storage. That way I don’t have to move a mech into cold storage, make the purchase, move that into cold storage, and then refit the mech I had ready to drop.

The Crusader in DLC3 would be a great addition too.

i hope at some point they add kicking and/or shoving. I lose my arms too damn often and would love to just ram as a last resort.

as much as i like the game there is still apparently no upgrade to the friendly AI. though i have favorited the DLC i not be purchasing it until all the mods i use are updated (primarily Merctech and PirateTech). not sure how long that is going to take.
MW:5 is just nearly unplayable without mods to fix its many many issues

I found the AI manageable so far, you can keep them close to you, send them to locations you have a LOS to and make them attack your target quite reliably albeit its sort of sheepherding but as the superior intelligence in the lance there is no one else who can do it and a little vanilla gameplay makes you appreciate the mods even more!
