Clan machine gun rate of fire
I have a couple of quirks on my viper I don't quite understand the primary one is as the title says ...
" Clan machine gun rate of fire ( rof ) increased by 20% ", is that just standard MG's or does it include HMG and LMG?

Thank you

Think this +20% rate of fire Clan machine gun is for all MG, including HMG & LMG!

So do I need all 8 Quirks in a set to get the quirk?

Also does weapon cooldown affect rate of fire for MG's LMG's HMG'S ?

So many questions ? ? ?

You need all 8 pieces (= the Prime torso plus all leg, arm, side torsos and head omnipods) of the VPR-Prime to receive the 20% RoF quirk as this quirk is a "Set of Eight" quirk. Change any omnipod and the quirk is gone

MGs have no cooldown, which is why they're not affected by cooldown quirks

DATA in one of his videos stated that all MG/LMG/HMG actually act similar to an energy (flamer), internally to MWO ingame.
MG/LMG/HMG instantly hits target, and does damage over time; hence you do not need to lead the target with your aim.
The mg 'bullets' you see is just a visual effect.

Hence cooldown does not affect MG/LMG/HMG.
