A new permanent event called Machine Gun Domination.

• Any mechs are allowed.
  
• There is a 12 hour rotation of 4v4, 8v8, and 12v12.
  
• The Mode is always Domination.
  
• There is unlimited Machine Gun Ammunition.

The final piece is that Domination Mode and Machine Gun ammunition would be removed from Quick Play altogether.

NO.

Any idea proposed – even ones which Event Queue would be used for – that destroys other Game Modes will have my strict opposition. There is literally never any reason to render various types of Mechs & Builds invalid in the rest of MWO's available options. We need to stop losing players, and your Event Queue idea would cause exactly that unwanted thing.

You are correct. Taking any existing options from players would not be advisable. It would be much easier to keep Quick Play as the de facto Machine Gun Domination mode and recommend a brand new permanent event.

It could be called "Everything but Machine Gun Domination"...identical to Quick Play...just played without machine gun ammunition or Domination mode. Everybody wins!
