I may be able to pilot a hero Sunspider. Since this is a rare occasion, It is wise to get the best variant, quiaff?

So my question to my fellow thrueborn, which variant do you recommand and why?

The Vanguard and Manul both do their own, dedicated builds without needing to swap other pods. Vanguard does 2 UAC 10 and an ER PPC, while Manul can do 4 LPL or 4 ER PPC. The Ambush is trickier, you kind of want to combine it with Manul arms for 8 energy hardpoints so you can do 2 LPL 6 ERML, but IMO Timberwolf does that better. So, question is which build you prefer, since the Sunspiders tend to be one trick ponies - not a great deal of potential builds. You can't, for example, brawl in them.

I was thinking get both and to 6 energy with ecm.

I bought the sunspider c long ago because I like to be lazy and lrm spam sometimes.

Just add narc or tag buddy for maximum funzies. Also set two groups of all launchers to chainfire and you can dump a lot of missiles in a short time by firing both. This keeps the heat penalty from coming into play.
