This problem has been happening since yesterday, the 27th. I double click the MWO icon, put in my log in information and then the screen changed from full screen to minimized and will not become visible (full sized) at all. I have to ctrl alt del in order to shut the game down.

It did it once last night around midnight EST and once earlier today. Now it is doing it every time I try and play. I have not updated anything on my end. Everything on my pc is the same as it was 3 days ago. So, as far as I can tell, it is not a problem on my end.

As a start, when MWO game client (program) had already started and you cannot see it:

==> Try pressing [ALT]+[Enter] to maximize MWO game screen.

Please do share us how you did with this attempt!

All that did was bring up the Taskbar settings menu.

I have just found out that if I open a browser and Alt - Tab between it and MWO, that MWO will go full screen.

**EDIT** I take back my last line because I Alt Tabbed back to MWO after typing that and MWO went full screen but it was completely black and then went back down to the taskbar like it was minimized.

Any custom config entries?
I suggest you try to backup and then delete your attributes.xml

Sounds like you have a bad problem there, and need some major Tech Support to help you. I suggest you back up your Local MWO Profile located at...

"C:\Users\<<<your-user-name>>>\Saved Games\MechWarrior Online"

...and then Contact MWO Support via the link at the page's top just as soon as you can. You may have to blast away part of your Local MWO Profile in order to repair this, or find out what has changed in more recent Windows versions and other driver files to mess you up, but I would not know which part as this issue has never struck me before. I do hope that you figure out what has gone wrong and can share it with the rest of us!
