What about you fix ALPINE (though it does not need any fixes only Drop-Point-corretion on map design), instead of bringing new maps no one wants to play.

I played the map on day 2 and predicted it is in drop favor within 2 weeks.

And?

Yes it is not even more favorable than the new purple map!

THAT was a work for in vain ):> :P


NOW MAKE ALPINE APPEAR MORE IN QUEUE!

And do not make new maps without asking Community, dear noob PGI (one step forward 3 back...)

Anf for your info why the designer sucked:

1. The Magnetar, Proton-Star, Quasar, what ever should have been on the left or right side for both tmeas to see.
2. the star should damage any Mech seeing it, means every secodn exposed 1% damage, or jumping Mechs
3. 2 leads to:
a. the canyon wall mus t be high enough for all not to see the star
b. the structurs must be build 30% to 70%
1. a long wall with few entrances behind the Mechs can fight (and mostly die
2. the others side could be these structures, but the high ones are nearly exposed to star, so jumping on the upper structures means rewards but risk of damage.

4. one Ramp for up from the airport, landing area. The upper area has also a long protective wall on one side and some entrances to look trough or jump/fall down. The others side should be with free view.

By the way, who the ***** goes near a Magnetar or Neutron Star to build such a large base??? To get radiated and die before even coming out of a drop-ship?

You know, Build another ALPINE MAP....

AND,

if a MAGNETAR there should have been a Magnet Burst every 5 minutes which shuts all Mechs down for 15 second. The Bigger the faster the Starup !

I can imagine an ALPINE Map near a Magnetar too ):P
