Just wanted to start off by saying to those that might chime in that it is one of my mods (which I thought it might be), that the below Reddit has a person posting it happening on XBOX. So, it seems to be cross platform, and not due to mods.

Since I saw that, I took the time to make sure I captured a couple of Beachhead drops. What is happening is that all friendly AI, including the friendly AI that drops in, can be seen firing wildly at nothing. Even sometimes ignoring targets that they usually prioritize. It seems to be all over the map, even locations that had nothing before. But, it does seem to be consistently happening near the base capture point.

Third drop - only recorded happening when they started firing at map edge.

First recorded drop had them firing at nothing, but seemingly toward the main capture point. Second part of that video I added a clip showing them acting fine. The second recorded drop had a lot more instances of firing at points on the map for no reason. Ignoring killing the radar dish while firing at nothing. Then, ignoring the artillery to fire at nothing. Even later on the same drop, shooting at a mountain peak. Then, finally, again shooting at the empty capture point, with all the friendly AI that dropped in. Final video is as mentioned. Note the the red pop up on radar was just a pop-up turret that activated when I got close.

As mentioned by a few in that Reddit, seems to be happening a lot since the last patch. Lots of speculation as to what might be causing it. Hope that if support already did not know about it, they do now. Held off on publishing videos until I was sure no unannounced August patch was being released.

Bit of a PIA before I programmed a macro to have them hold fire. Also not good that I cannot count on them during those drops unless I micro-manage their targets. Luckily, YAML has added features to help mitigate them not being available. I feel sorry for the console players who cannot program macros, and don't have mods.
