It's the original mech bundles that have been in the in-game store forever. I think everybody forgot about them.

FYI ,the [IS] Mastery Packs had been on sale in the 2nd half of 2020, and then silence... no more sale after that...

I also support this. I would love to have Project Phoenix (P) mechs and perhaps even packs of old Loyalty (L) mechs. Not to mention the old Steam bundles that you can't get anymore. There are a lot of old mechs that you simply can't get anymore, be them promotional (like that Nvidia Centurion AL) or simply no longer available for sale. I especially want a Raven 3L or Locust 5V with the 30% bonus....but you can't get them anymore.

anything pre clan, make it 50% off. clan-civil war 25% off. make this the permanent non-sale price.

also stop milking it with blatant cash grabs with shiny mechs and overpriced mech packs. i will not buy those. there are plenty of things i would buy, new booster packs, new stand alone heroes, new variants. any pack that brings new weapons or items that enable faster grinding of various in game currencies and xp.

I would be interested in the Clan Invasion Mad Dog ... but I am not insane enough to pay $360 for it.

was mostly trying to push the idea that older pack = more discount. but i agree that those clan packs are stupid overpriced. some of these need to be re-packed at a more sensible price point, and then apply the discounts i specified. looking at the store there are a lot of stupid overpriced packs that i forgot about.

while they are at it they should re-pack everything origins and prior (with the exception of the urbie). the urbie pack introduced a more sensible pricing scheme, and it was only after that model was introduced that i started buying into the game. even the founders-phoenix mechs should see a re-pack (not a re-issue but a new pack using the cbill variants).

it would be cheaper to buy the mech bays, and the mc/cbills and buy them directly. because sometimes thats cheaper, especially when hitting all the sales.

i have been calling for this almost ever since i started playing. they need to slash the prices of those old pay or mech packs down by at least 80% if they want anyone to buy them. especially the ones that have been around since almost the start of the game.

i doubt it will ever happen though.

You are right.

The situation is especially absurd if I consider that if I you buy a Hero OmniMech, I will get the special skin AND unique OmniPods. (now I am not talking about the C-Bill bonus)

Just look at the example with the Invasion Mad Dog. PGI is "forcing" me to buy lots of other 'Mechs that I am not interested in, ton of other junk that I do not care about ... and in the end I would get a Mad Dog with the special skin AND standard OmniPods that offer no new hardpoints.

... and all of that for $360, i.e. for the cost much higher than I would pay for the heaviest unique Hero OmniMech. 100-ton Daishi "Ultraviolet" costs just $25, other similar Omnis cost a few dollars more).
