In the first event it said:

4 'Mech Drop Deck (Drop Decks currently 50% OFF!)"

For those of you who are new the game or faction play, the drop decks you buy for MC have nothing to do with event queue and are only for swapping between in a faction play lobby. So don't waste MC on them if you don't play faction play.

Yeah should have been a blurb stating it just a general sale and not specifically for the event.
