Just tell me: Do you have any verifiable statistics beyond anecdotal experience that don't end up showing that "Lights" are the least played weight class with the lowest averages for damage / match score?

seems to me that the large number of people complaining about light mechs is the number 1 statistic to use if your deciding if lights are good for the current state of the game.

Large number of people and loud number of people are not the same thing. I promise you, when it comes to light mechs, this is a loud crowd, not a big one.
