I'll just come right out and say it.

The blue font name meta in this forum currently has turned it into copy'n'paste Reddit wearing robot versions of cold colors.

• Blue Font Names have a high contrast, carrying more color than thread titles.
  
• Blue Font Names have high saturation which combined with color theory and the fundemental law of optics, will always attract the eye to the poster rather than the post.
  
• This on top of people making multiple quotes to dissect each argument sentence by sentence.
  
• Then, to make things better, several posters have smurf accounts.

I've always been a fan of blue font names as a colophon, as book titles and author names. That's not the case anymore. Having a blue font name pack doing copy'n'paste like some drunken Reddit event is the name of the game and more often than not will push a thread to getting locked.


So is this supposed to be a forum with battlemechs or a weird reddit furry forum in cold colors?

People will complain about anything. Fill your life with meaning and a blue font on a forum about murder robots will no longer trouble you.

I do actually prefer the yellow for the forums, but it would be nicer overall if it was a white background and black text. Then it Wouldn't hardly matter what color the names were.

i think we should use black, it would be harder to read and would annoy the forumwarrior fanbase more.

They simply changed one color from yellow to blue, but I'd wish they choose a little lighter shade for better contrast. It'd be easier on my eyes anyway.
