So it's an 80 ton mech which puts it in realms of the Charger, Gargoyle and the Warhammer IIC. It has a lot of variations available, including, gauss, missile boating etc etc but imo it's also very sexy.
What do you think?

Looks really cool but I don't want another assault. I would like to seem some new mechs that I would actually buy, like lights and mediums. Personally I find assaults to be unfun and anemic. So I rarely play them if they are not an EXE.

If it helps it's rather fast for an assault, it's default speed is 86km/h.

No.

Starting with the Mad Cat Mk. II "Moonwalker", new 'Mechs were mostly Assaults.

Even the last all-new 'Mech Pack was another Assault (Stone Rhino).

So no, we do not need another Assault.

The default speed means nothing. The Phoenix Hawk IIC is BattleMech with freely adjustable engine size.

I would rather see a new light or a new medium 'Mech, preferably with less ridiculous quirks than "Scattershot" or "Scaleshot" came with.

Grendel is something like overengined Shadow Cat. It moves 16 km/h faster, but it pays for it with even less tonnage for weapons (approximately 3-4 tons less, depending on the loadout). On top of that, that Grendel's speed advantage is not always as useful as it seems, since the Shadow Cat can go faster than the Grendel, if it engages its MASC.

I am not saying that the Grendel is a bad 'Mech, I am just not sure if a sufficient number of players would be interested in buying it.

I say yes because it a competitive 80 tonner and further drive down the Gargoyle into the dirt which I'm fine with.

But I would say drop the Griffin, Shadowhawk IIC they're 40 and 45 tons respectively and have good hard points location with plenty of variants to bring. Bonus for Counjer and Hellcat

Also for lights just bringout the Locust IIC which gonna be really powerful imo and fire falcon is a good 25 ton Omni to bring, and commando IIC since the model doesn't need much change other than slightly larger and head model

Eight ERSLs and a MPL on such a fast mech would be pretty powerful.

Good hunting,

This is probably the only 'mech I actually want to see in the game.

It's Clan, a BattleMech, lots of ballistic hard points, reasonably high mounts, and it'll be more agile than the KDK-3, so it checks all of my boxes.

What do you think?

First off — and I'm very seriously not trying to be nasty here — you should have put a link to Sarna's "Phoenix Hawk IIC" Mech Chassis Article @ https://www.sarna.net/wiki/Phoenix_Hawk_IIC so that people could have seen all those defined variations. Then each person could have individually considered which configurations that MWO would be potentially able to accept and introduce. Trying to show off a Mech without displaying the capabilities in more detail only leads to confusion and negative opinions. (Wanting people to understand and have positive opinions about adding this is why I've typed that whole paragraph!)

That said...

YES!!! I ABSOLUTELY WANT THAT "PHOENIX HAWK IIC" NOW!!!
GIMME!!! GIMME!!! GIMME!!! B)

Why not the Wolverine_IIC, aka, the Conjurer, aka the Hellhound?

Its a 45 ton Clan Battlemech. It also has been recreated a lot, so visually it varies from a Clan Wolverine, to what you see in MW4 Mercs.

Better idea:
Why not BOTH?!
Conjurer + Phoenix hawk IIc! In a bundle package, be sure to take one for the kids!

The Phoenix Hawk IIc is teh sexy. We all want.

But its a fair point that there have been a lot of assaults recently. Something lighter first... THEN the Phoenix Hawk IIc !

It's 55 tons the same weight as a IS Wolverine, but it can bundle up with the Shadhawk IIC and Griffin IIC a 45 tonner and 40 tonner with a bunch of variants to easily add into the game.

Do I want it? Yeah sure, from a point that I want optimized weapon platform, for selfish reasons.

But does the game really need another clan ringer? It's basically an 80-ton incubus with jumpjets, or an 80-ton Hunchback IIC, judging by those hardpoints. We already have Warhammer IIC for that 80-ton clan battlemech, do we really need another one? I honestly barely see Gargoyles even.
