Do we still have any word if there will be clan battlemechs available, or will it be only omnimechs throughout the campaign?

Ok, I just noticed that elemental in the image. Does that mean elementals will be in the game? And if so, how might they be used?

Also: once again gonna beg for a GOG release of clans. :P

Mechwarrior 5: Clans is the first game among all the games in the BattleTech universe, where mechwarriors have their own personality in everything from personality to skills. There are specialized skills here and it's very cool. This has never happened before. Only in MechWarrior 4: Vengeance, mechwarriors (actors) talked about their preferences and skills during briefings, but it was in words and it worked in the game, it is not known. And here are the skills and I'm sure the Sibs themselves will tell us what they love.

I would like additions for other Clans :) . And to be honest, the additions depend on the sales of the main game.

And what is in the Social and Archives section? Clan information, codex, glossary, and information about mechs?

How about an Aerotech space combat DLC? All those TRO 3057 warships in the one preview video are wonderfully modernized!

Posted Image

Invader jumpships, Essex destroyers, a Texas battleship front and center, a Black Lion battlecruiser in there, maybe a couple Liberator cruisers and Lola III destroyers, and a pair of Nightlord battleships in the background! And next to the Texas is a Sovetskii Soyuz heavy cruiser!

If the Inner Sphere attacks first in melee, then the clansmen can also respond in kind. Especially Smoke Jaguar.

That's what Zellbrigen says about melee combat.

CLOSE COMBAT

Unlike the rules of dueling, the Clans' dislike of close combat is rather an informal, though widespread
custom. It is not known where he gets his start, although some experts suspect that Nikolai Kerensky actively encouraged long-range combat. Clan warriors can only launch melee attacks if an enemy combat unit does it first, and only against that particular unit. If the opposing player is in the melee phase any clan mech that is the target of such an attack can freely engage in close combat with the attacking mech.

-they gradually adjusted after seeing how well it worked for the spheroids' mechs.
