Early Concept art?
Taking out the left side torso does nothing?
Taking out the right one destroys all three?
Or is one launcher on the right destroyed when the left torso is gone?
Do the hitboxes overlap?

When I look at Nicholas Kerensky's Atlas II coming in, I find it a bit amusing that we now have two Clan Atlases: An "Atlas II(C)" and an "Atlas IIC" with the Kodiak.

PGI, old buddy old pal, could you maybe... maybe kinda soon, add that into the game. I'll throw some MC at that like you wouldn't believe.

Also an Inner Sphere Atlas II. Yes, I know multiple existing variants of the Atlas are very similar once you account for what either chassis offers in the MechLab, but it'd still be nice to have the Inner Sphere Atlas II in the game at some point.

missile spam is ******* cancer and makes the game unplayable for anyone not in a long range assault.

Literally how? Are you eschewing structure nodes and/or not taking armor?
It's mathematically impossible otherwise for Arrow IV to one-shot lights without pre-existing damage, and at that point it's by definition not a one-shot kill. Even with such catastrophically bad decision-making in the MechLab, this would only affect certain 20-tonners; everything bigger than that or otherwise relevantly structure/armor-quirked still survives.
On top of that, learn how to use cover. You'll live longer and get more done in the long run, I promise, even when there's a lot of missiles on the field, Arrow IV or otherwise. Missiles like those punish behaviors like not using cover more than anything else; reportedly, they're rarely seen in the higher tiers because people who get to that level generally don't make such mistakes, or if they do, it doesn't happen often enough for folks to justify bringing them. Folks like you and me will see them a lot because a lot of people at our level don't know how to take cover; I'm hardly a master, myself, though LRMs and other such missiles rarely pose an actual problem for me. I usually get killed by other means.

if they hit your side torso as a light, they oneshot you, dunno wtf happened, but they do way to much damage for something that just tracks. you cant just "use cover" the entire match unless you want light mechs to not even be able to participate in any given match lmao...

No...? You can use cover without cowering away.
I don't know what to tell you, I play lights myself and don't have this issue. Where Arrow IV is specifically concerned, I've also been on the other side of it; most lights I shoot manage to survive, even though I give them both tubes. The ones that die were already damaged by the time I slap them.
If you're actually getting one-shot by the Naga's paired Arrow IV, you're getting killed by the same kind of damage a single AC/20 can do. Maybe there's something you can do to make that less frequent. Check your build, and maybe adjust your habits.
Also, even after the velocity buff, Arrow IV is a slow missile. You can react to it, and to LRMs as well for that matter.
