Is the likelihood of using the hat switch in the Cry3 engine for viewing the environment possible?
I.E will the hat switch be programmed ito the game to permit a player to look left, right and to the rear. One feature we had in the earlier MW games was to look right or left, without twisting the torso in that direction, and shoot. I know the topic of the hat switch has been mentioned in other threads, but I haven't seen an answer whether this will be an option or whether it is even under consideration.

Operable JS hat switch for viewing options - under consideration?

I recall reading somewhere that JS support was being seriously considered. So, "IF" they decide to offer JS support ne would think this would be in there given its been in almost all the other MW games.
I think there's been similar posts about this in the past.

JS Hat switch should give L/R (on monitors) view and Back(Rear View)/Down (for DFA's)

We should all read the FAQ more carefully (especially me). From the FAQ.
Q. Will MechWarrior have support for custom mapping joysticks/other input devices? (multiple device support?)
A. We have partnered with some of the industry’s biggest hardware manufacturers and will be doing our best to support all types of joysticks and flight systems.
