I bet that you got a lot of questions of this kind, but I am really curios how long do I have to wait? I have just submitted it a few hours ago. Please tell me how many days do I have to wait. For other beta games that I played I waited for 1 week or so. In this game do I have to wait more?

You'll most likely be waiting for a long time...

Closed Beta invites started going out randomly back in May? Now... the only way to get into Closed Beta is by purchasing a Founders pack which as a bonus gets you an auto-in for Closed Beta... or... I believe IGN Prime members (NA only) also can get an invite to Closed Beta...

Failing those 2 options... you're most likely going to have to wait until Open Beta starts... which, last word was end of Summer 2012... so not too far away hopefully...

Yeah, thousands of invites went out over the last few months before the Beta Access feature of the Founder's Packs went into effect, then the Founder's Effect went into effect which dumped thousands more people into the Closed Beta (anyone over the age of 18 who purchased a Founder's Pack). The limit of being 18 or older is there because playing in the Closed Beta requires legally signing a digital Non Disclosure Agreement, since the game is still being developed and they don't want stuff to be leaked out that would cause th egeneral public to reach false conclusions about how the game will be as a finished product.

I think they might have all the random Closed Beta Testers that they need, so now if you want to get in you might have to acquire some kind of special invitation - For instance being an IGN Prime member, or purchasing a Founder's Pack from the MW:O website. Now, I am not sure about this; I have no way of knowing if they're still folding randomly-selected people into the Closed Beta. We do know, however, that the game will be transfered to Open Beta sometime in the [calendar] summer, which extends into September, and once it hits Open Beta then anyone inthe general public can download and play.

sometimes it helps to look around the forums, before posting a new topic when there are probably 30 other topics about the same subject. it'll save you verbal abuse from the large numbers of folks who like to cry "troll" about anyone who isn't them and has a legitimate question. you'll find a ton of helpful info if you just look around a bit and see what's out there. the only thing you won't find is info about the actual gameplay, as closed beta is still under NDA.

There are currently only 2 ways to get into beta.

1. Buy a founders pack.

2. Wait for Open beta.

The IGN offer that has been mentioned many times are no longer available.
http://www.ign.com/p...hwarrior-online

If you consider buying a founders pack, I recommend you take the time to read some of the Information on the packs and make an informed decision, and not just buy blindly to get into beta.

This is a REAL beta and not a preview of how the game will be when released.
DO NOT expect the game to be feature complete, bug free and expect performance issues.

Hope this helps.

A few days? Many of us have been waiting for months!

Anyway, it seems like that did give away some keys for non-founders. More info here: http://mwomercs.com/...rs-being-added/

My advice, never hold you breath waiting for:
  • beta invites
  • game patches
  • a phone call from that hot blonde you met last night

until you get it, obviously.

and if the question is actually "how long would i have to wait..." and you just don't know how to ask questions, then anyone who gives you an answer would reveal they were in the nda and thus breach the agreement.

From the email I got this morning, you have until September 6th to "buy your invitation" to the closed beta. After that I guess you'll have to wait until the open beta starts. .

Personally, I think it's time they threw out a few more free closed beta invites, the people who are waiting patiently deserve a little loving as well.

If you want to get into the closed beta, you'll have to support the development of the game like the rest of the founders did. That said, once you pay the $30, 60 or 120 dollars, you'll be in very quickly.

Nope Yesterday a friend of mine who IS NOT a founder got access to Beta so PGI it's still sending Closed Beta invites from time to time, (they just don't advise it anymore) so just keep waiting and be patient.

Anubirus, If you buy a founders pack you should get an invite to closed beta within a half an hour. If you wait for a random invite then it may be months or until open beta goes live.
