While I do believe the next release will be an Assault 'Mech, my money would be one of these two..

Well, if they are looking to even the weight classes up, I'm going to vote Zeus. It's a "lighter assault" and is such a quintessential Lyran design. Not to mention so far - they really seem to be sticking to stock 3025 designs.

Edit: though with MWO's emphsis on information and commanders and such, a compelling case could be made for the Cyclops as well.

Well, if I cant get a Victor, I'd like a thug.
But a Marauder II would be my best choice. Seems the lawyers get those tho.

The Marauder II once again uses Star League technology. An XL Engine is four times the cost of a standard. Have fun trying to afford just ONE. The only way you could possibly get one slightly easily is through salvage. And once again. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!

Since the Cyclops doesn't use Star League technology, it can also be a likelihood in appearing next month. It would be nice seeing that mech get released as well.

To me it seems they are going for Iconic non-unseen mechs. PGI also looks to be releasing one of each weight class in the 4 mech clusters (no specific order with in a cluster though). So in all probability we will be seeing an assault mech next. As for which one though...... Hmm. With the exception of the Dragon and Commando, all of the designs so far released were generally available (most of the major factions had access to them) pre-Clan Invasion. I'm thinking that the Awesome does have a strong chance. Yet so does the orginal Charger (yeuck) and the Victor. They may throw in a third semi-Faction specific one though to work towards a balance in all the weight classes so we might get a Hatamato Chi, a Cyclops or a Zeus. Honestly though it is fully open to what ever they want to release (I'm personally hoping for the Cyclops or the Confederation refit of the Charger, but I'm biased).

LOL, no worries, I can understand some of the hatred for the Dragon. Although, without the average -1N, there'd be no -5K or -5N, both of which are rather good.

I may have missed it, but is Star League tech out? By this time Wolves were selling Marauders to Merc units they thought worthy.(Miller's Marauders?) are you saying Star league tech will be some of the Store items? That would be ok with me too.
But, I'd take a Victor.

Admittedly simply making it reverse jointed won't solve the weight distribution problem of the TRO, but it would look better and less awkward. FD's stalker however has a much better distribution centered over the hips more.
