I have no doubt in my mind that by the end of the day, MWO Forum will have reached it's 150,000 post milestone. Now that's quite impressive considering game-play hasn't even yet officially started! If this doesn't show the dedication of the Member's want of this upcoming release, I don't know what does. The input and suggestions that have come through here, are nothing less than outstanding. Here's a big THANK YOU to all you members, that are avidly helping new members find their way, making suggestions, and discussing the BattleTech genre so that others can learn. Mechwarriors have never given up, and have never stopped breathing life into a game that screamed of a come-back with today's awesome graphic capabilities. And a special thanks to the Dev's and Moderators that have made this Forum in order for our voices to be heard.



Feel free to move this post to Announcements once the milestone post has been made.

Self congradulation can be a good thing!

But really, I'm thankful for the community as well. We've been pretty darned patient and very understanding and supportive. All the trolling is just for fun and is rarely mean spirited. With the exception of a few fights here and there (we're warriors, what do we expect?), we've been rather civil.

So, yeah, go community!

Because I CAN!
No really, even though I have played some of the Mechwarrior series games, I wasn't all that familiar with the BattleTech lore. Most of my experience is through Online, multiplayer gaming, I've never played the TT. Therefore I find all the information that the community has put out here extremely informative, without having to read how many books?

I know, right?!! Looks like I have quite a bit of reading to do. A Community member who saw my previous post, was kind enough to offer to send me a whole bunch of books. (thank you Grem!) I now have them at my disposal, and will do my best to get through as many of them as I can before the Beta release. BattleTech Lore---here I come!

This just further exemplifies what a great community this is! Mechwarriors helping fellow Mechwarriors. Who can ask for anything more?
