seems like a lot of the regs are busy with moves, work, and holiday stuff. I'm personally landed and still settling in, once I can get a laptop upstairs I'll probably start writing at night again. Right now, I'm being showered with ole friends and welcome home greetings by them. Looking for a job of some kind too, so it's a bit hectic, as I'm sure is the case with many others with the holiday days upon us. We'll just have to wait and see, was hoping a few posts would get up between you guys though, but if it doesn't happen, no biggie I'll see about moving things on probably sometime next week.

Totally. I'm terribly sorry, this new job has me working crazy hours. Only had two days off all month (so far) and those have been spent with the fam. 4 birthdays this month, trying to celebrate them all and once was interesting to say the least.

I do have ideas for post in most of the RPs I'm in, I'm just not finding the time. Super-sorry.

Was even thinking about starting a new RP, but that's going to be impossible till this crazy work schedule free's up.

They were talking about going back to 5 day work weeks soon, not sure when though. It may be after Christmas...

Ok I'm back up and running for now, though the internet connection with this old laptop is shaky at best. I will be reviewing the events and continuing on with our role play here either by tonight or tomorrow sometime, btw I'm West Coast time zone now, so things will go off from here as I can get them up and out. Anyway I shall be advancing our story forward a few days and hope to see some interactions with folks soon afterwards or even beforehand. Timeframe for my next initial post will be close to a week to respond from the players, before we jump on to the first planet in the series. So if there is commentary happening before then, please get it up by tonight around 11 my time. Thanks again and look forward to our renewal.

I'll hopefully have a post up tomorrow or the next day for this Oni. Finally got back in the writing groove. I just have to reread the thread and make sure that what I'm writing jives up and everything.

Since I stupidly made my character go to sleep and miss the tour, is it reasonable that he'd know all of the number codes to get around - like with a sticky note on his forehead or something? Otherwise he's kinda stuck not being able to explore. Also, does he get a special room cause he's a mechwarrior or am I stuck now with the shared room? If you want to just come collect him in your update post, feel free - otherwise let me know what he knows and I'll write something. I'm anxious to get into the pool haha.

I'm still playing around with the final set up of the system, but was wondering what folks thought, of the original image? I know of the background but not sure really how to explain it, thinking now that it might work better as a multiple close system campaign. Fasa was always a bit shadowy on their descriptions of the planets / system. did each system only have one planet to inhabit? Cause moist of the stuff I could dig up from the old books, listed one planet, and if you were lucky a few city names and descriptions.

Multiple inhabited worlds in the same system certainly aren't unknown. Off the top of my head, there's the Wernke system, which has both Wernke and Talon.

Just an update, I've settled a bit better now and once I kick my current bout of food poisoning I should have games back up and running again. The weather here has made it quite depressing but now that we have a few days of sun on the horizon and my mood is improving, I'll be back and ready to start our wayward adventures in "Eye" and the storm front of "Last Chance".
