by beginning a new game, need to skill me, handle this things like movement, waepons, armour, heat, etc and killing.
This are many hours in game, make mistakes, read forums etc.
And then here is beta, so testing all - after that done, I will look after ppl who make the same thing - so I think we will have more wins than loses:)
each who can win a 1 vs 1 know what i mean.
Greetings

I don't think it has anything to do with age since I'm 25 and feel the exact same way. I avoid voice chat with random people because usually the experience is awful, If I find a cool clan to run with I'll definitely use voice more, but not until then.

However, if I'm in a partial group and the puggers opt not to use VOIP, then I effectively ignore them or use them as canon fodder/etc. I don't care how fast you can type, in the heat of the moment it's not enough. It's not an automatic "screw you" but don't expect me to come save you if you get in over your head.
You might think this shallow, but that's just how I feel. It's your prerogative to not use voice chat, and it's mine to handle that as I see fit.

Here's the deal - when my friends (soon to be team mates or you call them pre-mades) ARE online, then we use either our OWN TS server or the semi integrated C3 system.
C3 works and works fine. We have created our own channel. If you form a group, it comes up automatically (if you clicked to remember your info, it even logs you in) and will assign you a room. As others join your group, they too, will be invited to the room/channel. Having our own room in C3 works just fine too. We just tell joiners to the group to go to 'our' channel. It even works if the game is not running.
One thing i did notice with C3 is that if you start it prior to starting the game and a group/ the push to talk doesnt work properly. I sent in a Bug Report to C3 on this. Other than that, works good.
When my friends are NOT online, I just like to play. If someone invites me to join them on TS2 or 3 or C3, I would most likely join them, but it is not that important to me. We are not (yet) fighting for anything or than C-Bills and XP. Playing with 7 others I dont know and DONT have on comms doesnt bother me because I will just have a repair bill, i wont lose the planet or the princess, or the factory, so its no biggie to me. Sure I like to win, and we (me and 7 randoms) often do win. Its also pretty obvious when we play a pre-made, but I am ok with it because, as I said, I will only have a higher repair bill and wont get as many XP.
I got stacks of C-Bills that I prolly wont spend before next wipe and I have all the modules unlocked on a couple of different chassis and I have all the pilot goodies available (so far). So I just play, call it Lone Wolf, call it PuG (I really hate that term) or call it some id10t wandering about the wastelands, I dont care. i have fun and I enjoy playing. Invite me, i will (mostly likely) join you. Dont invite me, thats ok too, i am simply enjoying the game and finding bugs, problems and things i see (imo) that are wrong, read about others thoughts on it and submit tickets if it wasnt something I did or caused.

I do NOT judge anyone in any way... one of the things I love about MWO's grouping plans is that premades can join up together and play together - against other premades. True team combat for those who prefer it, lone-wolf pugging for us others. Everyone is happy.

What I hear when people say that is " HEY I DON'T KNOW HOW TO PLAY AS A TEAM, AND I THINK I'M AWESOME."
You'll have to prove yourself as an exception if ever we cross paths.

Gotta be honest it IS embarrassing when you f*ck up and your significant other (gf in my case) decides to let you have it for all your team to hear XD

If you are a decent shot and can follow the herd you pretty much win even without any kind of plan or communication so long as SOMEONE has an idea what they're doing
groups are not superior in this regard... they win by load-out synergy most of the time (having scouts with tag lrm assaults long range/sniper heavies and brawler meds is an example) something that must be handled before the game actually begins
that is their only MAJOR advantage as one commander can coordinate pugs well enough with just a single map marker so long as everyone has 3 or more brain cells
if pugs didnt specialize their mechs for a role they may not even be able to fulfill pugs wouldnt be stomped as often (if only one person is really set up for close combat it means nothing as his team cant support him and the other team can just focus him down) if they used fairly range neutral builds they would be able to adapt well trade lrms or get in close under the min range (everyone should have ams atm as missiles are in style at the present)
a big problem is pugs cant ping their location or do anything but type if we could use signal pings that would solve most of the issue (not like the commanders map but just us tapping the radio on and off to show contact or lack thereof)

imho, while I have played with some rather good pug players, the average skill level of a player who plays with groups of friends is definitely much higher. You are more likely just to have some rather bad players on pugs. Not saying I haven't teamed up with some poor players in premades, I have for sure, but not in the frequency of which when pugging

Either it is integrated in the game or it does not exist.
Considering that we are in late 2012, I find it impossible that a game engine does not have integrated voice communication.
I use regularly voice communication in other games, L4D, TF2, BF, CoD, ...

I can appreciate that but I wasnt referring to skill just coordination skilled players SHOULD win over unskilled players 9 times out of 10 (1 to 1)
also alot of the "bad" player problems are just very poor team composition (for instance in lol you can be the best lee sin out there but it doesnt matter if everyone else on the team is a support champ youre still gonna lose) if everyone picks a build that requires someone to watch his back but nobody is built to do so im afraid its game over and thats not something you cant really know before hand so its better to build a more flexible setup
