I would not say the Periphery is someplace were anarchy reigns.

Bah yes the Sharks did fight in the invasion before Tukayyid. Diamond Shark keshik cluster did fight along side Clan Jade Falcon, as guests of the Falcons. Though later when the Sharks excel on the battlefield and their warrior caste allowed the merchant caste to sell provisions to the clan garrisons and made a huge fortune, some jealous Falcon commanders complained to their Khans about the sharks and demanded their removal from the front line. WIthout the Sharks, the invasion would have failed thanks to the pathetic war logistics of the Clans. So Add the Diamond Sharks !!

As I don't know **** about battletech lore, but the Clans sound like a band of eugenistic genetically-engineered genocidal space mongols - which is cool to me - I'll go with the one that has the coolest name, so Smoke Jaguar. Actually, Smoke Jaguar is the name of a Mayan CPU in Age of Empires 2 : The Conquerors (first game I got on PC when I was a kid) so that's double cool.

I found out about an even cooler name, that's Cloud Cobra, but it doesn't appear in the clan list. Cloud Cobra sounds super cool tho, I don't know if it's a good clan in the lore lol.

I am not sure about springtime in Winnipeg, living in the old Europe, but i am quite sure it is a clip from the MW2 expansion pack "Ghost Bear Legacy" opening intro

Hah. Yeah, it really could be either. So much snow you could easy hide a ghost bear under it. Hehe. If you are seriously asking though, it is the intro video to Mechwarrior 2: Ghost Bear's Legacy.
