Just some ideas for new permanent Modules (can't stand the One Use per pay stuff). Some could be used as either a Module or a Mech Upgrade.

1) Intel Drone
One use per battle. Fires a drone into the air, which stays stationary in the spot it was activated. Gives you targeting information on all targets within a certain range of the drone and within line of sight of the drone. Also negates the effects of enemy EMP within range on targeting and the minimap. Lasts 30 seconds.

2) Artillery Strike
Replace the horrible, current incarnation of the Artillery Strike for a permanent one.
One use per battle. Activate and target a grid on the Battle Grid. The selected area is pelted by a single artillery round every second until 8 shells have fired, landing in random spots on that grid one after the other.

3) Coolant Pod
One use per battle. Instantly reduces your Heat level by a large amount and increases the rate at which your Heat dissipates by X% for Y seconds.

4) Reflective/Reactive Armour
Permanent, Reflective Armour reduces the damage of Energy weapons slightly (has no benefit against Ballistic and Missiles) and Reactive Armour reduces the damage of Ballistic weapons slightly (has no benefit against Energy or Missiles). You may only have one Armour Module.

5) Electronic Camouflage
Permanent. Increases the time it takes for enemy missiles to lock on. Increases the rate of targeting decay of enemies targeting this Mech.

6) HarJel Auto-Repair System
One use per battle. Repairs your Armour slightly. Does not repair a Mech's structure or weapons at all.

7) ECCM Suite
Permanent. This Mech is unaffected by enemy EMP.

8) Heat-Dissipating Armour
Permanent. Reduces the heat received from enemy attacks. You may only have one Armour module.
