Is it just me or does anyone else get a blackened veiwer when they are fighting a mech that has a lot of laser scorch?

I dont mind the blinding light, but the darkening of the veiwer is a bit much. is this a bug or is this part of the design.. and if so .. why? i dont know about anyone else but my moniter shines blinding whites all day and doesnt get any darker so .. whats the reason behind this?

I get it too. I believe they are aware of the issue and have a fix for the 11-6 patch.

This is a known issue with Streak cats I think.
They are working on it.

Not just you. For me, it only happens on Forest, but it's quite bad when it does. OMFG if you're all blobbed in the cave.

Yeah. ;-) Its bad. Luckily its a known issue and I'm hoping it gets fixed soon.

For me its worst when taking LRM fire from 2 or more while trading blows with another mech at close quarters.

Whole world goes black.

A fix would be awesome.

If you are suffering from glowing mech disorder try putting this in your user CFG file

r_glow = 0
