I just "upgrade" my founder cat to double heatsinks
my old build was..
2x lrm5
4x medium pulse lasers
10 headsinks
260 standard engine (10 headsinks)
mech info say 1.12 heat efficiency
I could shoot lrm without overheating.. and shoot with 4 mpl for a good pinpoint attack, and use just 2 to cooldown my mech....
when I "upgrade" to double heatsinks I strip all my heatsinks(everything else stay the same)... but my mech info still say 1.12 heat efficiency (because the 10 heatsinks from engine now are double.. I supose)
but in actual gameplay...my heat go up quick.. and stay up for long... I even force shootdown in my mech to cooldown... and I power up my mech after 20 sec.. and still I was in 100% heat...
double heatsink is really broken... I was thinking it was a minor bug... but perma 100% heat? really?...
edit.. search engine... now I remember xDD

"The bug where upgrading your Mech to DHS did not actually convert your Engine heatsinks from singles to doubles has been noted, addressed, and the Nov. 6th patch will bring their cooling rates up closer to 0.2 heat/sec (exact numbers pending). There will also be a second heat fix."
annoying bug.. now I need money to downgrade xD
