Guys I have to ask it:
What is the ultra ac/5 in MWO???
Question 1 (yes or no): It fires 2x ac5 in succession?
So basically clicking once (firing once) = 10dmg
compared to ac/5 (firing once) = 5 damage
Question 2: (what is the chance of a jam?): I know I can shoot it faster by not waiting for the reload bar but what is the effect of that?
It just jams if you click faster then the reload time.
Question 3 (only way to unlock it?): Then you gotta select all weapon slots once to enable te weapon again!
Question 4 (damage is 5 or 10?): Per shot ultra ac/5 it does 10 or 5 damage?
Question 5 (the stat damage on the forum is based on the single shot or the fact you can reload it faster?) :is the damage increase related to reload time or is the shot itself just 10 because it fires a double round per shot?
Cheers for the answers!

It jams alot thats what it does.
Its a AC5 with more range and the ability to doubleshot, if you hold down fire it will fire again during the cooldown cycle but with a chance to jam. Its also a ton heavier than the AC5.
Edit, each shot does 5 damage.

Main thing with UAC/5 is that you can shoot it once during the reload cycle, effectively doubling damage output, at the risk of jamming the gun.
Before jamming was in the game it was great, but with current un-jam mechanics you're better off with a regular AC/5 (especially considering it being a ton or so lighter)
If/when they implement better un-jamming the UAC/5 will hopefully find it's place again in the arsenal.

The jamming is fine as well as the unjamming process, especially if you use a macro, to negate 'Macro abuse" all they would have to do is make the UAC jam for X seconds if the weapon does jam up and write it off as a "Automatic Rack Tap bang".
But yes, you are better off using a AC5 these days simply because of the jamming element.

Try unjamming without macro in a heated battle, it's a pain. Should be an easier way (a single un-jam button that needs mashing, or wait it out).

We should rename it and call the UltraAC/5 from now on "Bob Marley", cause it's always be jammin' (and smoking)...
Come on, someone had to make this joke.

One thing of note is that it's recycle rate is quite a bit faster than the standard AC5 as well, so even without the double shot, you'll be firing much faster. It just requires you to not hold the button down constantly, and it won't jam if you don't use the doubleshot, though I've found it doesn't seem to jam that much if you use it every now and then. Though, the current unjamming method is pretty damn annoying, I'm not sure what else they could do like it.

I notice that people forget this alot, but the UAC/5 fires over 50% faster than the AC/5 even when not using the jammy double-fire function.

I will ask here, how do you unjam a UAC? FYI, spellcorrect wants to turn unjam into Punjab

Thx for the responses, so the shot itself is a single shell doing 5 damage like the AC/5...
Well then... piece of Sh*t ultra ac/5....
Toggle each weapon blinking slot on and off which will reset the weapon :/
It is a hassle to do it in combat...
