I have noticed that when a mek dies, and it swaps to the outside view, the cockpit is still being rendered like with a little pilot sitting inside it, directly over where the view is. looks like someone forgot to hide those objects in the death cam view. it happens when observing other meks (and they die) or on your own mek. looks like a blown up version of the cockpit over the head of the mek.

Couldn't figure out where the support ticket submission forms were after the forum revamp.

When a mech dies on my client (me, teammate, or enemy) I get a physical model of a cockpit and pilot that falls out of the mech, and the center torso vanishes. Here's an example.

Just a note to say I've been getting this too, in a Founders Atlas and CDA-2A. I did mail support about it.

Have the same problem too.

Strange enough this only happens when I get destroyed. Other scrapped mechs look okay.

When going to ragdoll view the cockpit model is visible in front of the mech's head/face.

I have just played a game, and every time someone dies, I see a damaged skeleton of the cockpit sitting on top of the mech body. but its definitely not supposed to be like that. If i manage to see it again, I'll post a picture. Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

Not only that, but I see Jenner cockpits hanging outside of the Jenners while they are running around, completely uninjured.

You mean this is a cockpit, flying besides of the jenner? I thought its some kind of broken/misplaced outer hull segment of the torso.

I have seen this flying thing besides the Jenner since 2 patches, occasional. Must be LOD thing because i only see it on a lower detail setting between a specific range (~ 300-75m)

me too, filed a support ticket and the responder blamed my GT430 nvidia card as not being withing minimum specs ( which is an antique 8800gts series card for nvidia)

hopefully they have more qualified people then the one that responded to my ticket, looking into this problem

Still seeing cockpit graphic issue on mech's (appearing externally and to the front of the mech) - specifically with the Jenners in my group - after the latest hotfix patch.

Appears, then pops back when it stops, then reappears when the mech runs at speed.

EDIT: Others in my group reported seeing it at the same time, when i mentioned it in-game.
Jenner in question had PC Gamer skin loaded, if that helps.

I noticed that there's now visible damage shown on the 3D model of the mech that has been killed by a headshot. The cockpit area seems to look like a gaping wound.

The idea is great - but the implementation looks unfinished.

When the head-shot mech lies dead, you can somewhat see that gaping wound but you can also see the lack of details, especially when the remains are glowing. It looks to cheesy to see just a simple smooth surface where the blown open cockpit was.

It would look better if there was some sort of "busy detail" showing instead.

Please make it so.
