Anyone know when we get a new Jenner variant? I'm ready to max out my trees but I can't stand the thought of the K variant, it just seems so underwhelming...

Unlikely we will see any other variant - maybe the C3 version in a year or so.
Or possibly the "Cat" hero mech with the Narc, but that'd be MC only. You might want to just bear through the K.

You can expect to see a hero variant of each of the chassis is what they "plan" on doing in the future. As Protection said thought, when the clan invasion begins next year we may see some clan tech variants.

Honestly, I don't think we are getting one. The -K was put in precisely because non-Founder folks needed the ability to skill-up and that was a long wait, too.
Personally I don't really think we need another variant that badly either. Yes, the -K is in weird place right now, but if/when they implement chassis based perks/features they can give it something cool that makes it a worthwhile alternative.

Even Founders need to use the K, since the Founders itself is now a D. I did, and I still loved it - it's a Jenner! One less missile hardpoint does not make this baby bad by any means.

The K model Jenner is clearly inferior to the D, but it's still not necessarily a "bad" mech. Taking the weight savings of having one less weapon, and investing it on heatsink(s), armor, etc...means that the gap between the D and the K really isn't all that huge. The only time I really "felt" weak was when going head-to-head against another Jenner (particularly before the nerf to Streaks - when the D had a quite noticeable 1v1 advantage over the K).
All that said, I was running my K model Jenner when I first broke 1k damage done in a single match.
