Thank you for posting the size of your e-peen.

I will spread the name
Eisenhorne

far and wide to ensure all are aware that they should just power down and surrender if you appear on the OpFor.

Guess I didn't throw enough of a sarcastic tone in there.

You do realize that almost 1000 of that was "kill shot" xp, which is given for simply getting the killing blow?

Earlier, you said:

But you have no guarantee that Icebound didn't do the same thing.

XP is no guarantee that someone actually did work.

No saying he didn't but, if you're going to question whether the OP did work, you'd have to do the same to Icebound.

Don't be jelly bro. I'll tell you how it went down. My team was mostly trial mechs and all non-founders, I ran in to brawl with them and they got cut down in under 2 minutes, so I ran to the enemy base to cap because it was now 6v8 at this point. For some reason they didn't attempt to go for my base, which would have been game over, they ALL came back to defend theirs, but didn't wait for each other.

So basically I fought their light mechs, followed by their mediums, then heavies, then finally their assaults all either 1 or 2 at a time, which is how it was possible in the first place. After playing probably like 400+ games between now and closed beta, it had to happen eventually.

Congrats man, I just got my first ace a few days ago. http://i.imgur.com/N915n.jpg

OK this is even more impressive. You did it and then didn't start a thread about it. That really is amazing.

I took a screenshot, but maybe its because I'm running dual monitors, but I got nothing but a my desktop on one side and a black square on the other.

Yea, I know its braggy, but I've been playing since June, and I've never seen anyone get 8 kills in a game. Even Kai himself only got 4 :P

You don't see it often because most players who get it know that it doesn't mean as much as you think it does. Yeah sure it's awesome to get 8 kills but you never could have done that without your team. So you should be thanking the guys who helped you get those 8 kills instead of implying you did it all your own.

Believe me I was really tempted but I expected the same treatment that the OP is getting so I figured it wasn't worth it lol.

My clan is pretty thrilled though :P

That's why I never did it back in CB. Mine was mostly my team and luck. Lots of armor helped too!

I already said I wasn't doubting you, as I've done much the same before.

Not to devalue your accomplishment, but 6 kill games are relatively common and 7-8 kill games are not unheard of. When you play long enough it's likely you'll get around to a 6 kill game and possibly even 7-8 kills. The thing is, it's hard to really know how much one accomplished for those 7-8 kills. It's possible (and it has happened to me several times) that my team severely weakened many of the enemy team so that I, the last surviving member, was able to eventually take down the remaining 7-8.

So basically, good job, but you're not exactly the mechwarrior messiah. =P

Sure is mad in here.

Guy just started an innocent thread about something fun that happened to him. He's happy about it, but not being boastful.

Anyway, congratulations. I - for one - think it's awesome! :P I consider myself pretty good at this game and I've never done that. I'm also glad you posted your build. I've honestly never considered ER LLas much good, so it's cool to see that it's working so well for another play style.

I'm all about being proud of him but I just don't like it when people make a 8 kill shot game sound like they single handily killed an entire team without any assistance. I just call it a reality check.

Well, I do have to say that I have had (and seen!) games where I/they basically do kill the entire team by themselves.

Sometimes you get really lucky with gauss headshots.

Personally I wasn't going out of my way to do it, it just happened. But I know what you're saying, I hate those guys who just stand at the base and wait for all their teammates to die and then just stroll in and get free kills.

Amen to that! Mine was a fluke more than anything. I was lucky to get some kill shots in and then I was the last guy alive against a jenner and a LRM only cat with me and my atlas missing the AC20 and either 1 or 2 med lasers. (can't remember if I was running the RS or not)

At 50 xp per kill shot plus % total damage * 150 XP per killed mech, 1000 kill xp means about 600 kill damage xp across 8 mechs, meaning he did on average half the damage to each of the mechs before it was kiilled.

But I also notice no founders on his team, 4 of the non-founders were in trial mechs, and most everyone else on his team was killed. When the other side isn't firing at you specifically, I'd say there was a fair bit of fortune as well skill involved to make all of that occur. Fortune in not being fired upon, and not competing with as many optimzed builds as you were likely running.

in my mind a more impressive perfect game which i've only seen twice, is 8-0, all 8 players on my team with 1 kill.

not everybody had 7 assists though, i guess that would really be perfect

Not your personal blog.

In a game last night I saw you intentionally overheat your trial mech and disconnect to farm cbills. I'd like to personally blog that.
