My build is equally brutal, more heat efficient and almost certainly more ammo efficient.

Std 235
5 ML
2 srm4 + artemis (super tight grouping means pinpoint shots and never losing missiles)
endo
I believe 8 DHS - 2 each arms and sts
2 tons of srm ammo

Less ammo because you need less as all your shots will hit the location you want and combine with your MLs for some armor shredding devastation. You might see a small drop in overall damage on average (I believe I'm in the 6-700 range solo pug over a LOT of matches - and equal that or more in CW x2 because I run it in duplicate) - should see your kill efficient crank through the roof though. I don't spend time stripping all the armor like you would me more prone to with srm6 spreads, but when you engage with this that target is going down in a hurry.

That works wonders for you, does it,Syciocys? As in game play and being able to dish it out for the most damage?

I am ust not used to SRM's (more an AC and LRM specialist, but I gigured I had to branch out, make the most of y Mechs so was just wondering if weapons loadouts were good with the SRM on the 4SP

This was the medium mech I used way back when it first came out. I loved it. Oh and, I got my one and only *intentional* double kill (2 accidentals) in it. Two enemy mechs crossed paths and intercepted my double SRM6 blast. :D <3<3

This may have been mentioned, but drop a heatsink, trim a half-ton of armour from the arms, and replace the STD 245 with an STD 250.

First, you get a little extra speed. Speed is good.

Second, you get a little extra improvement in heat efficiency. When you have Double Heat Sinks, all the sinks that come with the engine have the full 2.0 heat/second dissipation and 2.0 heat capacity increase. External Double Heat Sinks provide only a 1.4x bonus to these values.

EDIT: And I just realized this thread started in 2012.

Don't have a 4SP, but I'd run this on it.
