Imposible To Add An Xl 300 Engine To An Atlas?

hi, i want to upgrade my mech to an XL 300 but when i try to add the new engine it will use all the slots of the center, (even the ones used by the torso). before the open beta i coud add it with no problems but now its asking for all the slots and its imposible to add it.

Your center torso is fine.
What about your sidetorso?
You need 3 free slots per sidetorso when you want to add an XL.

They really should add an in-game explanation for this. The question is getting REALLY old.
