I had finally gotten enough CBills together to upgrade my Atlas RS to double HS. With single HS i was running a total of 33 HS and my heat efficiency was 1.3. I went to double HS and my math is that i should get 10*2+11*1.4=35.4 HS vs the 33 with single HS. the problem is that the heat efficiency went down to 1.22. Is the math for the in engine DHS not taking into account the 2.0 value?

The heat efficiency calculation in the mech lab treats all DHS as 1.4HS. Thus the heat efficiency rating displayed is too low.
I'm not surprised by that. The patch notes claimed DHS to run at 1.4 efficiency across the board. Only then did the community find out that engine heat sinks run at 2.0 efficiency.
Miscommunication between systems and UI developers probably.
