How do I add a poll to a thread of mine?

I am drunk so forgive me if I missed something obvious.

i went to manage topic poll and made questions etc, but when i went to preview post, the questions werent there. Are the questions supposed to be visible in preview? or am i doing something wrong?

Foot note is that Poll will not appear in preview.
