My armor repair(to full using standard armor) is free despite be losing both my arms and and being cored. Anyone else notice this?

This is a double edged sworn in my opinion, but it is better than having a 50k armor repair bill on a single mech.

Did you sell a mech or otherwise have some armor kicking around?

This. If you have armor lying around, it will reduce armor repairs.

Ahh that might have been it. It does make the repair costs comparable to other mechs though, unusually enough, I didn't know that spare armor decreased costs though.

Funny I've played this game for around 400 games since open beta and I never knew this.

Note also that there is a bug in cost displays; so that it might SAY 0 cost but money is being deducted. Sneaky mechanics.
