Almost went with the wolf clan too, but it doesn't specify the warden/crusader faction, so I left them out.

not true .....
i think i posted this yesterday .....
Description:
One could argue that the Gunslinger is a product of the Clan Invasion and would not exist if not for that violent conflict. The 'Mech was jointly designed by engineers from both the Draconis Combine and the Federated Commonwealth who were in the process of assisting the Free Rasalhague Republic. To power the Gunslinger, a VOX 255 XL Engine is used to give the 'Mech a top speed of 54 kph. This is augmented by a pair of HildCo Model 12 jump jets that allow the Gunslinger to traverse rough terrain and provide extra mobility at close ranges. The 'Mech is also equipped with a Guardian ECM Suite and a Beagle Active Probe, giving the Gunslinger superior detection capabilities and protection from advanced enemy electronic warfare equipment. Finally, the Gunslinger is protected by fifteen and a half tons of armor, giving the 'Mech excellent armor protection.

*And as I stated in the other post, the FRR is, (historically speaking), closely tied to Comstar, who we really owe our existence to. If I recall, they also helped supply our armed forces with equipment, pre-clan invasion. Not saying that the FRR in this game should just fall over its self in regard to Comstar, but showing a little respect would be advisable.*
As to WHY ally with the FWL? Of all the major Houses in the IS, the FWL
1) Seems to be the closest in viewpoints as our FRR
2) It really only has one enemy house to deal with, (Steiner), due to its alliance with the Capellan Confederation
3) Is transforming it self into an economic & trade power house
Best reason NOT to ally with the FWL would be Word of Blake... But that is a future (?) problem...

I can't understand those who favor a clan. To ally yourself with a clan after invasion is like a ********* slave that is crawling to its sadistic master. Those who stand up against them no matter what, will have my support in their endevour to defend your homes and crush those ominous future invaders from beyond the periphery, if we are allied or not.
For everything else I point at my post in the other poll and will again repeat, that we capellans will respect that this vote is one to be restricted to your house.

It can have more effect for the merc groups out there that can actively choose House and contract to fight for.
I have always liked Steiner (pre-Katherine) so the FRR merc unit i will put together will mainly take contracts against Kurita and the clans when they arrive.

Look at it like this.. you may not like them but they make good cannon-fodder diversions in the fight against Kurita and later the clans.
