This evening, after the patch this afternoon, I was testing a new build on my founders hunchback, 2 large lasers and a UAC5, I fired a single shot, I didn't try a second shot but it still jammed after this one shot. I have been using UAC5 a lot since the patch and this is the first time it's happened.

Yeah, that happens sometimes. My guess is that the game checks if the weapon is jammed or not every time the cannon fires, not only when you double-fire it.

Nice to see that there spending time breaking things that are fine while they watch 80% of the games population scream in agony at their 8 FPS.

I was just going to post about this.
Especially considering TT rules state double shot with a chance to jam.
Not jam with every shot.
Stupidity.

UAC5 is now un-useable. If you are going to keep this weapon in the game, figure it out. jamming after 1 or two shots is not worth keeping it in any build.

Jamming should not occur on the normal fire only force fire. I am unclear as to why you keep moving guns from the "usable" column into the "crap" column. There was nothing wrong with UAC-5 after this patch. You brought it back in-line with other weapons. It is unclear to me how you have people testing patches before release then release content and immediately change it again. What are your back-end testers doing exactly? And don't get me started on this whole Gauss 3 health change. It's another garbage idea brought about by whiny forum cry babies.

Same thing happened to me: first shot of the match with both my UAC/5s, both jammed.

Hi,
i had something near it. I pulled the trigger and my UAC/5 jammed right before the first shoot come out....so it seems thats the code first check if it jams and after that the weapon fires the bullet.
(happend only once, so anyone else had this strange behavior)
Wish you all well.

nerfed into uselessness again.
They have completely overreacted with UAc5. It should have the same normal fire rate as the AC5 with an extra shot during that.
Only the extra shot should cause jams. it should be an incrasing chance to jam the longer you fire in double fire rate.
It shoudl auto unjam , but stay jammed for a reasonable amount of time (10-15s) as a counterpoint to the increased fire rate it supports.

It's simple, people go fullboard crying nerf as soon as they see something different than what they are used to. Ugh, my favourite build is no longer FOTM,
/NERF ON, - average gaming junkie goes "sob sob, cry - sob, threats of leaving the game and smacktalk this and that"... NERFFF that weapon to oblivion.
And the devs try to pay attention to the feedback, so they they grab the nerfbat for a swing, and whoopidoo, you've got a broken and useless Ultra AC5...
So please, this is my plead to all in these forums...
TEST TEST TEST and TEST some more before you actually cry nerf. And don't try to protect your favourite gun or assets just because you like them, eventhough you know they are unbalanced...

UAC/5 went the way of the LRM. It was fine, got a tad too strong and got hotfixed to absolute rubbish.
Prolonging the time it takes to unjamm would have been enough I recon.
But that's how they hotfix. They don't change one value a little bit but everything a whole lot.
